Artist Statement
After graduating from UVIC, Emily gained experience teaching and travelling in Taiwan. Inspired by the many children she taught, Emily opened the Paint Box School of Art in Victoria. She loves to teach all styles of art, especially drawing and painting. She has exhibited her paintings in numerous art shows around Victoria and recently finds herself engrossed in “En Plein Air” painting. Emily’s hobbies include photography, sports, telephone pole painting, baking, cooking and playing with her young sons.
